AI is becoming a true work partner that understands your tools, your data, and your context. And with Pendo in Claude's Connectors directory, all you have to do is ask. By leveraging Claude Connectors, you connect your tools once, and suddenly Claude can work across all of them, combining context from where you plan with data from where you measure. Here's what that looks like in practice:
Say you're writing a post-launch review for a feature you shipped three months ago. Your launch brief is in Confluence, documenting the original milestones, target segments, and success metrics. Your actual usage data lives in Pendo.
With Pendo and Atlassian MCPs connected to Claude, you can ask:
"Based on our dashboard redesign launch brief in Confluence and actual Pendo usage data, how did adoption compare to our targets? Break this down across different user segments."
Claude reads your launch brief to understand what you were trying to accomplish and when you shipped.
Then, it queries Pendo to pull the actual feature adoption, time-to-value, and engagement patterns. After Claude ponders, you’ll get a summary that understands both your strategic intent and what actually happened.
The launch brief contains the context (key milestones, target accounts, and success criteria) that helps Claude interpret the product data meaningfully.
Instead of reading that "Feature X has 2,000 users,” you can understand that "Feature X reached 2,000 users in 6 weeks, which exceeded our 45-day adoption target for Enterprise accounts but fell short for SMB."
This is the real power of MCP: not just accessing data, but connecting context across systems to answer questions that require a deeper understanding of your business and goals.
Customers can start using Pendo’s MCP server
If you're already using Claude, you can now connect it directly to your Pendo data with a few clicks. Just connect once, and Claude can pull the context it needs straight from your Pendo subscription. Whether you're a Pendo admin or have never opened a dashboard, Claude makes product data accessible to everyone.
That means you can:
- Ask natural language questions about your product: "What's driving feature adoption for accounts in our Enterprise segment?" Claude queries your actual Pendo data to answer.
- Build context for customer conversations: Ask, "Show me engagement patterns for Account X over the last 30 days". This gives you perfect, speedy prep for all of your quarterly business reviews and meetings.
- Analyze visitor behavior at scale: Combine product analytics with business context from your CRM, support tickets, and documentation.
Whether you're a Pendo admin or you’ve never opened a dashboard, Claude makes product data accessible to everyone.
How Pendo’s MCP server works
When you connect Pendo to Claude, Claude can read your product usage data. This means the LLM can see data like:
- Who's using your product? Which accounts and users, how often they visit, and what they do.
- Which features are getting adopted? What do people actually click on and use, and what sits ignored?
- Usage patterns over time. Is engagement growing or dropping off?
This is valuable because it means you can ask Claude questions like "which Enterprise accounts haven't logged in this month?" or "what features do our most engaged users have in common?" and get answers based on your actual data, not generic advice.
