Today, I’m excited to share that Pendo has acquired Chisel Labs, an AI-native company built by people who deeply understand product management and how it is changing.
AI coding tools have made it easy for R&D teams to ship software almost instantly. But those teams still need help deciding what to build, and ensuring what gets built drives real user success and business outcomes. This is the problem both Pendo and Chisel have been out to solve with AI.
Chisel founder Praful Chavda started his company after many years feeling the friction of modern product work: writing PRDs late at night, manually synthesizing feedback, context-switching endlessly between tools. His team built an agent designed to help PMs move 10x faster on critical workflows like drafting PRDs and release notes, conducting user research, and triaging user feedback. Their goal: to help teams make better decisions, faster.
Our teams at Pendo have spent the last year building agentic AI that speeds up many of these same core product management tasks. Now we can accelerate this work together with Praful and team. With the acquisition of Chisel, Pendo gains exceptional talent, strong technical foundations, and a team that understands how AI can enhance the impact of product teams.
As part of this acquisition, Chisel’s engineering team in Pune becomes the foundation of Pendo’s new India R&D hub. We’re excited to invest in the team and grow our presence there for the long term.
The best partnerships start with shared values and mutual respect. From our first conversations, it was clear that the Chisel team brings both. We’re thrilled to welcome them to Pendo.
