Through regression analysis on onboarding data, we discovered the hidden truth: it’s not just what customers do, it’s how often they do it. The number of days a user is active in their first 30 days turned out to be the strongest predictor of long-term engagement, followed by usage of key “Aha!” features. We turned those insights into action by developing new onboarding KPIs, dashboards, and targeted campaigns using in-app messages, emails, and proactive support to keep customers moving.
