Tyson is a Sr. Product Manager, leading product-led growth and new user activation initiatives at Calendly—the world’s best scheduling automation platform, removing the back and forth headache involved with scheduling meetings. He loves big initiatives that allow him to collaborate with teammates and solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions. His greatest joy is turning terribly-performing experiences into solutions that users love and can’t live without. He lives for creating outsized-impact business results that greatly improves product delightfulness for users. He believes great products are a culmination of “1+1=3” thinking and that iterative product development creates far better results than any “silver bullet” thinking that is common in product work.
Prior to Calendly, Tyson was schooled in world-class product management working 5 years in Apple retail. He cut his teeth in product management at sales and marketing automation SaaS provider—Keap (formerly Infusionsoft). Tyson presented his learnings and experience in product-led growth initiatives in the December 2022 Product Festival virtual conference, and loves connecting with both aspiring product managers and seasoned product leaders to share learning and collectively raise the quality of our craft. Tyson lives in Gilbert, AZ with his amazing wife Jenny and their 6 incredible kiddos, 2 dogs, and 11 chickens.
